What to Expect
March through May is prime time for mahi-mahi (dolphin) — a beautiful, fast fish known for its vibrant colors and fantastic fighting spirit. As the Gulf Stream pushes closer to shore, we frequently find schools of mahi, making it an ideal time for anglers who want non-stop action.
Blackfin tuna are also plentiful in the spring and provide a real test of strength. And don’t forget about cobia! These fish often shadow larger sea creatures, and when we spot one, it makes for an exciting sight-fishing opportunity.
